IAEA Consultancy Meeting on Technical and Operational Issues Related to the Transportation of Irradiated High Burnup and Mixed Oxide Fuels

The purpose of this activity is to facilitate the sharing of information pertaining to the transport of spent fuel and high level waste between experts from experienced Member States and those who will be preparing to transport spent fuel and high level waste for the first time. The information is also useful to those Member States not directly involved in dispatch or receipt, but whose borders will be crossed during the transportation from one Member State to another.
